POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for designing, planning. organizing, directing, controlling, and executing Canadian marketing and product strategies for Canada (public relations, advertising, Direct initiative and in-store programs), supervising the translation of email, animation, and all other client-facing materials, and executing other marketing related projects for Sephora Canada.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design the marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP Merchandising and Marketing and our partners
  • Delegate, execute, monitor and oversee delivery of this plan
  • Partner with the brands to elevate our marketing strategy and answer our need and theirs
  • Partner with the US marketing team and our US and Canadian suppliers to promote branding, sales products, services and stores openings
  • Design and deliver the communication strategy and information programs, publicize activities and events, and maintain media relations
  • Create and ensure consistency of Sephora’s branding and image on the Canadian market

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred with 10 years of related experience
  • ESSENTIAL: Proven track record of innovative media and marketing campaigns
  • Bilingual English and French.
  • High level of initiative, able to work independently on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Excellent up to date computer skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
