Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director – business Development, the Technical Editor is responsible for technical content of proposals, qualifications and offers of service. Specifically, the Technical Editor must:
• Collect the necessary information for such documents from the various individuals involved in a given project;
• Write texts in both languages (mostly English and some in French) using his/her knowledge of construction industry techniques;
• Revise and make necessary changes;
• Supply texts to the graphic designer and provide guidance for page layout;
• Provide support to the graphic designer during the layout process;
• Prepare and assemble the final documents prior to submission.

Requirements
• Have a degree in Construction Engineering or Architecture;
• Minimum experience of 2-5 years in a similar role;
• Experience in the construction field and technical knowledge of the industry (essential);
• Solid knowledge of MS Word and Excel;
• Experience with page layout with InDesign software is an asset (an asset); and;
• Good organization skills, an ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work well in a team.
