Transcribers work on the international aspects of an artificial intelligence tool, and improve its ability to understand and respond to the user accurately. This involves various language processing tasks:
- Transcription
- Evaluation of texts and audios
- Annotation & categorization of words
- Timestamping
Qualifications required
- Organized, attention to detail, ability to closely follow-up instructions, quality standards, and productivity requirements
- Investigative skills (troubleshooting)
- Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
- Being able to track, analyze, troubleshoot and report issues
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (native). French is a plus.
- Excellent cultural knowledge of Canada, staying up to date with day-to-day news and happenings in the target country and regular use of the language
- Good audio listening and typing skills
- Basic computer skills, Excel / Numbers
- Available to work at Lionbridge's premises in Québec city
- Full-time (37.5h per week) from March 2019, middle to long term duration

- Comfortable working in a Mac environment

Les transcripteurs de ce projet travaillent principalement au niveau des aspects internationaux d'un outil d'intelligence artificielle et vise l'évolution de l'outil sur différente particularités langagières locales. L'objectif premier est d'améliorer sa capacité à comprendre et à répondre à l’utilisateur avec précision. Il se concrétise par diverses tâches de traitement du langage :
- Évaluation de textes et d’audios
- Annotation & catégorisation de mots
- Transcription
