Main Duties:
- Develop detailed plans showing arrangement of display furniture and other fixtures using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software
- Advise on selection of colors, finishes, materials and other items
- Estimate costs and materials required and may advise on branding elements
- Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences and purpose of space
Employment Requirements:
- English speaking: Native or bilingual proficiency
- DEC Interior Design or Bachelor of Interior Design
- Relevant experience with commercial/retail spaces
- Design concept presentation, 3D sketching or 3D rendering
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (AutoCad, Inventor, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, V-ray, Sketchup)
- Knowledge of materials, wood products, production of millwork commercial furniture
- Knowledge in merchandising and product display related to retail experience
- Knowledge in branding and marketing is an asset
- Experience in customer service/dealing with clients is an asset

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, Permanent
- 37.5 weekly, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30
