HEAD OF MARKETING

Our client, is looking for a highly energetic, experiences, and creative Head of Marketing to work with them in the launch of their highly anticipated wearable product. Their product is the world’s first modular smart band. The goal of it is to disrupt the wearable space; to give power to the consumer to cust­­­­omize their smart devices both on the inside and out at a fraction of the cost.

This brand is focusing on the Millennial and Gen Z demographic. The Head of Marketing will lead all marketing efforts for the company’s launch in North America and will be responsible for creating a marketing plan, identifying new business relationships, negotiating licensing deals, and creating ambassador and endorsement programs. The position reports directly to the CEO.

Responsabilities:
• Build out the marketing plan;
• Develop strategic marketing plans targeting the Millennial and Generation Z demographic;
• Build strong relationships with target audience in all relevant lifestyle areas, such as fashion, music, etc. and within a North American context;
• Develop marketing strategies that communicate the brand, execute viral and unique guerrilla marketing campaigns to generate buzz both online/offline;
• Create materials to support sales;
• Create customized pitch presentations;
• Manage the company’s presence at participating conferences/trade shows.

Requirements:
• 7+ years of senior marketing experience with lifestyle brands for the United States market;
• Experience marketing to the Millennial and Generation  Z demographic;
• Experience building relationships with influencers and ambassadors, such as "YouTube celebrities";
• Experience with viral guerrilla campaign creation - both strategy and tactical execution;
• Experience identifying and executing third party partnerships and licensing opportunities (in fashion, music, media);
• Ability to negotiate licensing and business development opportunities.

Assets:
• Experience with consumer electronics a plus;
• High proficiency in ping pong a strong plus (but not required).
