The International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA) was created to promote the role of the Americas in major decisions and reforms related to the challenges of today's global economy. The IEFA also aims to facilitate trade, provide business opportunities and provide access to the unique perspectives of leading experts.

The FEIA is a private organization that hosts six major economic summits per year: the World Strategic Forum in Miami, the Conference of Montreal, the Conference of Paris, the Toronto Global Forum, the IEFA Latam Forum in Buenos Aires and the Phoenix Global Forum. These events cover a range of key issues affecting the global economy: international trade, financial regulation, energy, natural resources, sustainable development, innovation, health, etc.
