YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Manager, Global Internal Communications, the Senior Advisor, Internal Communications will play a key role on BRP’s corporate internal communications team. This indeterminate position will be based out of Montréal or Valcourt.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing internal communication strategies that ensure that key messages to target audiences are clear and consistent, especially in times of organizational change
- Participating in internal communication efforts and processes to support management in the rollout of organizational change programs
- Supporting BRP’s internal communication plan and various development and innovation projects
- Advising internal partners on the most appropriate communication strategies, tactics, tools, messages and channels to use in their role as managers
- Drafting internal communication tools
- Working with colleagues in the communications department to develop and improve internal communication tools, including memos, bulletins, presentations and corporate publications
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or any other related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, chiefly in internal/organizational communications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- Superior ability to provide strategic advice and manage change
- Strong writing skills and ability to explain complex ideas in laymen’s terms
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, multidisciplinary and multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to be organized, to plan and to delegate work to collaborators and suppliers
- Ability to build strong relationships based on trust and collaboration
- Ability to see the big picture and consider cultural realities when drafting and conveying key messages
- Methodical approach, sound judgment, empathy, enthusiasm, determination and creativity
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and HTML programming an asset
