This position requires a candidate with excellent creative, administrative, and word-processing skills. This company manages and executes large scale public events in Montreal during race weekends and throughout Canada executing experiential campaigns for clients.
Job Description:
- A proven self starter and energetic individual with an outgoing personality and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are essential
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling and the ability to generate well written correspondences
- Coordinate production of marketing materials with designers and suppliers
- Coordinate design and print assignments
- Various administrative duties as required and assisting to the President
- Interest in planning and promoting internationally known Festivals
Qualifications:
- Business degree with a Major in Marketing
- 2 years experience in Marketing, Events, or promotions
- English and French written and spoken
- Advanced computer skills with excellent knowledge of Apple Keynote, Pages and Numbers, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as ability to learn new software applications quickly on a MAC computer
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Photoshop skills an asset
- Must be able to go out of town sometimes to do events and or activations
