Objective of the position:

The media manager plays a leading role in the planning team, contributes effectively to client expectations and requests, and participates in the management of media placements.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure day-to-day communications and build strong client relationships for the manager
  • Maintain good business relationships with partner agencies
  • Develop media plans and presentations responding to client briefing
  • Conduct negotiations on media buying campaigns and make purchases
  • Supervise all accounting and administrative tasks related to media placements, for all accounts assigned to him, including the preparation of monthly media investment reports (BCRs)
  • Conduct searches based on customer needs, using Telmar, InfoSys, COMBNavigator, comScore, Cardonline, Nielsen and other search tools
  • Work effectively with finance, media investment and other internal groups to ensure the smooth running of client media activities

Education and experience: 

  • 1 to 3 years experience in media planning / media buying
  • University studies ; specialization in advertising or marketing is an asset
