Coordonnateur marketing NHL/MLB (Marketing Coordinator NHL/MLB)

Assisting the Brand Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for maximizing the visibility of the NHL and MLB Brands of Imports Dragon both nationally and internationally.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maximizing NHL and MLB visibility;
  • Represent Imports Dragon at Sporting Events;
  • Maximizing the growth of the NHL and MLB Brands through execution of the Marketing Strategic Plan;
  • Planning, organizing and coordinating corporate and consumer events both Canada and United States (in-store and on-line campaigns, conventions, seminars, fairs, etc.);
  • Managing and leveraging Social and On-Line media;
  • Selecting, managing and leveraging relationships with marketing partners;
  • Measure and monitor Marketing effectiveness.

Experience & Competencies:

  • 2-5 years' similar experience in a marketing company or media company;
  • A keen interest in sports;
  • Creative;
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite and Social Media. Monitoring tools, Google Analytics an asset;
  • Fluently bilingual written and spoken (English very good spelling, French);
  • Detail oriented;
  • Organized;
  • Flexible, adaptable, thorough and determined;
  • Ability to manage projects and perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Interest for new trends in interactive marketing;
  • Often working on the weekends and evenings due to sporting events (NHL/MLB games and events);
  • Ability to travel in North America approximately 30 days per year.

Compensation

  • Base salary between 33k-40k
  • Benefits program (medical insurance, life insurance)
  • 2 weeks vacation
  • Registered Retirement Saving Plan (RRSP with contribution from the employer)
