Located in Laval, Quebec, our client is a premiere full service marketing agency specializing in business solutions and digital engagements. This position will focus on buying performance-based media. Our ideal candidate can combine creativity and marketing with proven analytical and profitable online media buying experience. You have the know-how to develop and test online media campaigns with specific performance based objectives and expand them into high volume / large spend buys as well as expert knowledge of online media campaign design, testing, optimization across multiple online channels including display, retargeting, portal (MSN/Yahoo), PPV, and content networks. You are an experienced professional who is strictly focused on ROI and not branding and you are very metrics driven. You have the expertise in analyzing large volumes of campaigns, generating and negotiating key business decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Help drive our online media buying and customer acquisition strategy by developing and managing profitable buys for multiple brands
  • Leverage creative and marketing knowledge to develop new creative, landing pages, and campaigns for specific brands and publishers
  • Manage creation and execution of campaigns that deliver against business goals
  • Drive and optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including CTR and conversions through targeting and creative optimization
  • Prospect new publisher and media buying opportunities
  • Manage CPM, CPL, CPA, CPC, and CPV campaigns and review backend performance to ensure specific eCPA and profitability goals
  • Develop strong relationships with brands to continually test and optimize programs
  • Work with cross functionally with various departments to develop and advance the online marketing team

What You Need for this Position

Must-Have:

  • Minimally 3 years of experience in Online Media Buying, specifically, in Display ads and Programmatic Buying
  • Lead Generation / E-Commerce
  • Advanced experience in RTB (Real-time bidding)
  • Very analytical - can prepare media buy performance reports for internal use and for our clients
  • Accomplished with buying Facebook ads
  • Client facing - will need to interact with our customers and represent the company at tradeshows
  • Must be able to travel to the US and overseas
  • Experience in Contextual Advertising
  • Experience using Optimizely or LeadPages or other comparable tools for A/B testing is an asset
  • Must be Google Analytics and Google Adwords certified

Affiliate Managing Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Experience with CAKE or HasOffers is a plus
  • Setting up offers with either of these platforms, then contacting various publishers and/or affiliate networks to send traffic to the offers.
