Purpose of Job: To provide day to day execution of all client’s media activities & to provide general assistance in overall planning process

Location of the position: Montreal

Key Accountabilities:

  • Tracking the performance of client ads and reviewing statistical data with supervisors and directors.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with outside vendors, and submit cost and other service details into a media plan.
  • Responsible for collecting and filing documentation such as contracts and invoices.
  • May participate in media planning strategy meetings with team members and help develop new ideas for client media plans.
  • Creation / Distribution of Print media release forms
  • Creation / Distribution of Digital Trafficking Sheets
  • Creation / Distribution of media calendars
  • Updating Blocking Charts / Managing Plan Shifts
  • Preparation of Annual DAA Competitive Review (Newspaper)
  • Responsible for Material Extension Requests
  • High Level Costings and Media Estimating
  • Evaluating / Preparing Media Point of Views (Smaller Proposals)
  • Data Inputs for client Reporting
  • Corporate Budget Control Report
  • Dealer Advertising Association Control Report
  • Year over Year by Zone Year over Year Corporate
  • Spend by Nameplate

 Skills and Behaviour:

  • Bilingual: French and English
  • High proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, creative and analytical.
  • Works well under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation, oral and written communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 Years
  • University Degree or Advanced College diploma, Preferably majoring in business / marketing / advertising
