Print production coordinator (English description follows)
Une maison d’édition jeunesse de renommée internationale est à la recherche d’une/d’un Coordonnatrice/teur de la production IMPRIMÉE pour joindre les rangs de son équipe. À titre d’adjoint(e) à l’Éditrice, cette personne est responsable de la matérialisation du livre. Les tâches qui en découlent sont :
- Préparation des devis d’impression
- Recherche de fournisseurs
- Analyse des coûts et faisabilité
- Suivi d’impression (bons de commande, échéancier, livraison, etc.).
- Contrôle qualité (suivi de production, tests de sécurité, etc.)
- Organisation du transport (Maritime et terrestre)
- Gestion des Ebooks
- Production de matériel promotionnel
- Autres tâches administratives liées au livre (dépôts légaux, gestions des métadonnées, etc.)
EXIGENCES
- Un minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en production imprimée (avec l'Asie, un atout)
- Compétence en gestion de projet et en coordination
- Grand sens de l’organisation
- Bilinguisme essentiel (Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais)

NATURE du poste
Emploi permanent, à 4 ou 5 jours par semaine (à discuter), à Montréal (métro st-Henri)

Print production coordinator
An internationally known publisher of children’s books seeks a PRINT PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to join our team. Working as assistant to the Editor, you will be in charge of realizing the project. Responsibilities:
- Preparation of print requirements
- Sourcing of suppliers
- Analysis of costs and feasability
- Print follow-up (purchase orders, scheduling, etc.).
- Quality control (production monitoring, safety tests, etc.)
- Transport management (land and sea)
- ebook managment
- Production of promotional materials
- Other book-related administrative tasks (legal deposits, metadata management, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in print production (Asian experience an asset)
- Competence in project management and coordination
- Strong organizational skills
- Bilingualism (proficiency in English)

The position
