We are looking to fill an open position and to expand our Graphic Design department. We are seeking a creative graphic designer to join our Marketing team in Concord, ON. Candidate should be/have:
• Post-secondary degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience
• A strong portfolio
• 2-3 years of experience in an agency or corporate in-house graphic design department
• Experience with package design and consumer packaged goods
• Ability to work well in a team setting and individually
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Expert knowledge of industry standard software (primarily Adobe CS6, some Microsoft Office)
• Full understanding of the printing process and print production
Willingness to travel occasionally
• A flexible attitude towards changing priorities
• Ability to adapt quickly if direction or strategy changes
• French language skills an asset
Duties include creative development and graphic design of all printed and digital materials, including brochures, product literature, point of sale materials, color cards, social media graphics, product sell sheets, packaging, advertising, training materials and direct mail.
This is a 1-year contract position based on a 37.5 hour schedule in our Concord, ON office.
